Who is XY?

My name is Adam, but in my teens I picked up the nickname XY, and it stuck. These days, only my family calls me Adam—to everyone else, I’m XY.

After living what feels like a million lives, I’ve come to understand how quickly time moves. Growing older has crystallized two realizations that now drive everything I do:

First, I’m committed to staying as healthy and mobile as possible for as long as science allows. I want to age gracefully while remaining fit and vibrant—because longevity without vitality isn’t really living.

Second, I want to dedicate my remaining years to making a meaningful difference—protecting our planet and preserving wildlife and nature.

My first priority is healing my health. I live with CIDP, a condition similar to multiple sclerosis. Six years ago, doctors told me I had two years left to walk. I’m still walking—yeah! :)—but it’s a daily struggle.

This podcast is my way of sharing everything I’ve learned and everything I discover moving forward. I’m starting with health and medical insights because that’s where my battle is now, and I’m determined to extend both the quality and quantity of my years.

I’ll also share experiences about building meaningful relationships and navigating human connection—using my stories to help bridge those gaps.

Thanks for joining me on this journey. Let’s figure out how to live better together.
